Our story

Margaret Closet started with a name before it started as a business — our daughter’s.

My wife and I welcomed Margaret a little over a year ago, and somewhere in that first year we found ourselves wanting to build something of our own to give her one day — something with her name on it, built with the same care we try to bring to raising her. That idea became Margaret Closet.

Margaret has golden hair and the kind of soft, delicate features that make you look twice. That warmth and softness inspire the way we put our collection together: considered colours, easy silhouettes and thoughtful details.

Every piece we choose is selected the way you would choose something for someone you love — with care, with her in mind, and with the hope that it feels just as personal to you. From the jacket that brings an outfit together to the layer you reach for again and again, we want getting dressed to feel like you.
